I want to share a video of some of my first dives following getting scuba certified.
For me and others living in and around Bangkok, there are a handful of places to get your theoretical and pool training in. Then for the real dives, Chonburi (less than 2 hours away_ has two main zones – Pattaya and Sattahip. Each of those zones has several dive sites, including shipwrecks.
For foreigners, signing up for scuba training in Thailand is a worthwhile experience and will most likely be more economical than courses in Western countries.
